Supergirl CANON POINT:
Season 2, Episode 17CAN THIS CHARACTER BE CANON PUNCTURED?
Yes WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS WITH THIS CHARACTER IN GAME?
The OC needs more superhero types as far as I'm concerned. Kara is also extremely bubbly and friendly and I'm hoping that leads to many friendships.CANON HISTORY: Kara DanversIN GAME HISTORY:
Kara Danvers was born in Seattle, Washington, the second child to Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers. Growing up, Kara and her older sister Alex were extremely close; practically inseparable. As they got older they remained close, often hanging out with mutual friends. This continued until Alex graduated High School and moved to California to attend UC Irvine. The sister’s saw each other as often as possible, but it was hard at first, for Kara, suddenly being by herself. However, Alex moving actually helped Kara figure out who she was without her sister and began putting herself out there more.
In her Senior year of High School, at the suggestion from a friend, Kara joined the school newspaper. Most of her stories were reviews on the school plays or random stories that no one else wanted, but Kara didn’t mind because she enjoyed seeing her name under even the most mundane story. She would send her stories to Alex, who suggested that Kara would be a good journalist someday.
Kara wasn’t so sure she could make it as a real journalist, but the thought of her name in a bigger publication than a school paper gave her the drive to try. She put together a portfolio with her various articles and began applying to schools for journalism. She was accepted to a handful of schools, but she ultimately chose to attend UC Irvine, like Alex, because after college, her sister had decided to stay in California where she had gotten a job with the Orange County Police Department.
While in college, Kara once again joined the school newspaper and worked hard to get the bigger stories. Once she graduated however, she found it much harder to get a job in the industry and has recently been rethinking her career options.
Kara had known that journalism was going to be a hard career to get into once she graduated, but hadn't expected it to be quite this hard. She had been freelancing for a local newspaper here and there, when they had a story for her and just like in high school, they were usually the stories that no one else really wanted to take. The boring stories. While journalism was still what she wanted to do in the long run, she was beginning to wonder if she shouldn't look for something else for the time being.
It was while she was contemplating this idea when she saw an ad for a personal assistant job for Tony Stark and recognizing the name, she decided to take a chance and apply.
